children's choir

Sundays at 9:30 AM

what's children's choir like?

Faith's children's choir is so much more than singing--it's time with friends, having fun, praying and learning together about Jesus.

Open to any child ages 4 and up, this small group for kids meets on Sundays from 9:30 to 10:30 AM in room 49. Singing is just one way we praise Jesus and have fun, so no music experience is necessary. The only requirement is a willingness to love God and love each other.

Leah Guizar leads a team of dedicated adults and teens in the children's choir ministry. All adults working with our children have clearances on file at the church.

The Children's Choir sings at the 8:15 AM or 10:45 AM worship gatherings around once a month. We also do some outside church gatherings several times a year, including field trips, pool picnics and community events. Attendance for singing in church is not required.

We usually open our time with a prayer then share "prayers and praises" with each other. We learn about Jesus through the Bible, and then spend 15-30 minutes in a musical activity (using our voices, signing with our hands, playing instruments, and more). We finish with praying together.

Parents and other adults of kids are welcome to stay for children's choir, but not required--it’s okay either way.
