children's church in person
On the first Sunday of each month, kids can gather with their friends during the 10:45 AM worship gathering to learn more about Jesus. A fully active and fun time, the kids play games, hear stories and do neat activities and crafts.
Children's church is for kids in grades 5 down to pre-schoolers. They start worship with their families in the sanctuary, then will be dismissed to join their friends in our large classroom dedicated to children's church ministries in the back hallway. You are welcome to escort your child to children's church but it's not required.
To keep our kids, families, and adult ministry volunteers safe and healthy, all kids and adults must wear masks for children's church. Our activities will follow current state social distancing guidelines.
A team of dedicated adults leads our kids during the activities; all adults working with our children have clearances on file at the church.
To attend children's church, kids need to have their adults register them with our children's ministry greeters before worship begins. A greeter will use a tablet to enter vital information about your child, and generate a sticker for him/her to wear. (Currently, to minimize contact, please allow the greeters at the children's ministry station to enter your information for you.)
LeAnn Showers, our director of children's ministry, is happy to talk with parents and kids about children's church and children's ministries at Faith. Contact her at 814.355.3358 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
