Local Mission Work Week

Working to rebuild the kingdom of God

Join us as we serve our neighbors and share the love of Jesus right here in our community. During Local Mission Work Week, teams of volunteers will come together to help with home repairs, cleanup projects, meals, organization, encouragement, and more for local families in need.

ALL SKILL LEVELS NEEDED!

While construction and handiwork experience is great, this is only a portion of the support needed to make a successful missions project. We also need help with running supplies, cleaning, organizing, meal prep for our volunteers, and other important jobs! Whether you can help for a few hours or several days, there’s a place for you on the team. Together, we can make a positive impact and continue rebuilding the Kingdom of God right here in Centre County.

Have questions or interested in serving? You can reach out to Roger Schwartz at roger.schwartz@bellefontefaith.com for more information.

Who should serve during the missions week?

Thinking back over your life, can you identify times, places and events in which God has blessed you beyond your expectations? Have you looked for and found opportunities to allow God’s blessings to flow through you so that others may also receive the Lord’s blessings? If this describes you and you’d like to volunteer a little bit of your time in repairing and rebuilding the Kingdom of God and seeing His blessings flow into the lives of others here in Centre County and beyond, we would be excited to have you join our missions team!

We strive to have people of varying skill level in all types of maintenance, repairs, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, cleaning, organizing, yard work, house work, food service etc. But far more important than having technical skills of any kind is having a heart for service.
