partnering to provide for foster kids and support foster families in Centre County
God had been stirring a passion to care for the fatherless in the hearts of Christians in our county for some time. Out of those stirrings in October 2010, God brought together several local churches to form the Centre County Orphan Care Alliance. They believe in honoring God’s call, great love and great heart for the fatherless in our local community.
Centre County Orphan Care Alliance (CCOCA) is comprised of representatives of Centre County, Pennsylvania, Christian churches and exists to
- ensure that every Christian in Centre County is aware of the plight of the fatherless locally and globally,
- motivate every believer in Centre County to engage in their responsibility to care for the fatherless, and
- provide Biblically-based resources and material support to help create well-equipped homes for every fatherless child in Centre County.
In addition, CCOCA works in conjunction with local government agencies and private organizations who provide services for children and families involved in foster care or adoption. Faith Church is proud to partner with Centre County Orphan Care Alliance as together we care for kids and families in Bellefonte and beyond.
