we can't wait to meet you

We know meeting someone for the first time can be intimidating, and going to a new church for the first time can be nerve-wracking, too. We want to help make your first experience in person at Faith a great one!

worship gathering times

Faith Church meets for worship every Sunday with two different times and styles.

in person: Sundays at 8:15 am | 10:45 am

online: Sundays at 8:15 am | 10:45 am

what can I expect?

how long are worship gatherings?

A typical worship service lasts about 50 minutes. We'll begin with a couple of announcements, sing a hymn at the 8:15 AM service or a couple of songs with the band at the 10:45 AM service, pray, and then one of our pastors will share a message. Most services wrap up with a final song or two.

what's the culture like at faith?

You're invited to come as you are. Jeans and a t-shirt are totally acceptable and many people wear them, but if you like to dress up more that's awesome, too.

We celebrate communion at both worship gatherings on the first Sunday of each month with gluten-free bread and juice. Everyone is welcome to receive communion.

Our worship gatherings are geared toward both the long-time Christian and the first-time guest. When you walk out the doors at the end of a worship service, it's our prayer that you will have experienced God in a way that's real and life-changing.

what if i have kids?

Children's church

Kids and families are a huge part of Faith Church, and that's why we want to make sure your kids have a blast learning about Jesus!

Kids can gather with their friends during the 10:45 AM worship gathering to learn more about Jesus. A fully active and fun time, the kids play games, hear stories and do neat activities and crafts in an interactive and safe environment. The kids' ministry is for children in preschool through fifth grade. Kids start worship with their adults, and then are dismissed to join their friends. You're welcome to walk with your kiddos to children's church, but it's not required.

Nursery and quiet room

We understand that babies and toddler need some quiet time or room to move around--and so do their adults. Our worship atmosphere is relaxed enough that adults are welcome to move in and out of the sanctuary during the service with their little ones as often as needed.

At both worship gatherings on Sundays, we have two nursery spaces near the sanctuary for children ages 3 and younger. The infant nursery space is just through the double doors off the sanctuary lobby on the right. It includes a changing table and crib, comfortable rocking chairs, and a private space for babies to be nursed. The toddler nursery space is directly across from the infant nursery and has age-appropriate toys and size-appropriate chairs and tables.

Our worship gathering is live streamed to these rooms, so you can still follow what's happening in the sanctuary. Click here to see pictures and learn more, including information about staffing, cleaning, volunteer opportunities and more.

Children's choir and kids' class

Kids have two special learning opportunities on Sunday mornings from 9:30 to 10:30 AM. Faith's children's choir is open to any child ages 4 and up and is so much more than singing--it's time with friends, having fun, praying and learning together about Jesus. The kids' class is open to all ages of kiddos and uses stories and activities to learn about Jesus and how much he loves us.

what if i have special needs?

There are many different types of unique needs that folks at Faith have. We work to be intentional to understand the specific special needs of all in our congregation and provide accommodations to the best of our ability.

What accommodations are available?

  • Designated parking spaces are available near the sanctuary entrance. All restrooms have wheelchair-accessible stalls. There are several seating options available in the sanctuary; just ask an usher.
  • Listening-assistance devices are available at the media station in the sanctuary.
  • Closed captioning is available for all online worship gatherings.
  • Noise-cancelling headphones are available for kids at the entrance to the sanctuary.

How do you handle food allergies?

  • Our communion elements are gluten- and alcohol-free
  • Other food allergies can be accommodated upon request

Finally, if visiting during a Sunday morning worship gathering seems overwhelming for any reason, you can plan your visit during non-worship hours by appointment.

I have a question. Who should I ask?

If you'd like to ask about accommodations on Sundays for kids and teens, reach out to Jeff Pilger at jeff.pilger@bellefontefaith.com; for adults, contact Marie Mesmer at marie.mesmer@bellefontefaith.com.
